As a Frontend Developer at KBC Global Services, I am one of the main contributors to the web insurance portal of DZI, the largest insurance company in Bulgaria.

Some of DZI’s insurance services were integrated into UBB’s mobile app, where our team implemented and customized solutions to meet UBB’s unique requirements and edge cases.

My responsibilities include developing new features, fixing bugs, refactoring and modernizing legacy code, reducing technical debt, and applying OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code practices. I also build scalable, reusable components and services using the latest frontend technologies.

A highlight of my work has been leading the frontend development of a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solution via PID, which helped DZI win 1st place at the 2025 B2B Media Awards.
In addition, I developed a core system supporting Bulgaria’s adoption of the Euro in 2026. It dynamically switches between EUR and BGN as main or secondary currencies, synchronizes all transactions and price calculations, and allows seamless dual-currency visualization in the client.

Thanks to my internship at Smart Academy, I had a lot of freedom to decide on technologies and approaches, manage the rest of the team and the overall development process, approve important decisions, and handle business meetings as an IT representative.
